Individual coaching engages the pastoral leader over at least three sessions of exploration to identify leadership strengths and potential blind spots that sabotage effectiveness. The client can expect:

  1. assessment of world view, self concept, and understanding of ministry context
  2. challenge to explore behaviors and attitudes that sabotage effective ministry
  3. create a path forward for honest leadership embracing strengths and managing detractors while identifying vision for ministry and building consensus within the congregation

Organization coaching brings both the leadership of the church and pastor together to foster understanding and create a shared vision. Effective communication highlights commonalities and identifies disconnects that lead to conflict. Working together, the organization and key leader move toward one another to discover God’s vision for local church ministry.

Individual and organization coaching combine to maximize effectiveness. The pastoral leader receives individual support to improve self awareness and leadership skills while the congregation journeys to discover its true way of being that both helps and hinders its ministry to its community. We work together to raise minimum capacities by leveraging the natural skills of the key leader and healthy ways of being of the congregation.
